Large Rectangle Fireplace Log Rack Hammered Steel

This Enclume wood rack is absolutely beautiful. It is extremely solid, heavy, and sturdy - made with thick steel. You won't find many wood racks with this 3/8" thickness. The hammered steel color and look is something to be appreciated - you can imagine and picture the person making it. This will last a lifetime and be a wonderful art piece as part of our hearth forever. The curved/rolled ends and arches are artistic and add a special flair and unmistakable style to the piece - we love them. It is easy to assemble and only takes a few minutes. The covers for the legs are a great idea, as our sits on our hardwood floors. Although this rack is one of the larger available, I still wish it was bigger. Perhaps the vertical rolled bars could be a bit taller to accommodate more wood at the top or it could be a bit longer to allow one more row of logs. We end up stacking it really high and you can't see or fully appreciate the rolled ends as much because we have so much wood on it. We have been burning mostly softwood or lower BTU hardwood right now and we end up having to fill it nearly every day to every day and a half. That might be different with hardwood, but I still would like to be able to fill it and have around 3 days' worth of wood ready to burn inside. We have a large stove and are heating 2300 sq ft, so this problem might not be common. We love the additional kindling holder on the side, but again, we wish it was a little bit bigger to hold a bit more kindling. We find we fill it up it can easily spill out. With that being said, we did a lot of research into a high-quality durable wood rack that was also artistic and beautiful, and you won't find a better one than through Enclume. It costs a bit more, but you will have it for life. We bought the Enclume rolled eye 4-piece fireplace hammered steel tool set to go with it, as they match in quality and look (the same great rolled ends). Other than the size, we couldn't be happier. If you are looking for anything bigger that also has this type of quality and style, you just won't find it, so we are extremely happy with our purchase.

This is so nice to have. I love having my firewood stacked neatly, ready to use. Very easy assembly and really appreciate the rubber feet covers to protect my hardwood floors.

This rack has a simple profile, which is exactly what I was looking for. I wasn't sure I wanted the kindling attachment sticking out. When putting it together, I saw that I just didn't need to attach it. That's what I did. I kept the two kindling hooks to attach to a beam for a hanging plant! It is sturdy and easy to put together. Strong steel. No concerns about quality at all.

This is a very well built log holder. Easy to assemble and very sturdy.
